Story

The Lautenschlegers

J&L Cavaliers started at the beginning of our family. When Jason and Lauren were dating, Jason decided he needed a companion dog. He chose the Cavalier as a perfect companion for him. Lauren had always been a free dog person. She thought he was crazy for wanting to purchase a purebred! It turned out to be the best decision! Jason bought Bella. They fell in love with the breed and have made Cavaliers one of their life's works. Bella attended our wedding in 2020.

Jason and Lauren wanted to grow their family. Lauren wanted to stay home with babies but worked as a teacher. Jason suggested that they become breeders in order to bring Lauren home. They have built J&L Cavaliers with that in mind over the last several years. Now they have their 6th baby on the way and a beautiful Cavalier breeding program.

J&L Cavaliers has brought this family's dreams to life!

"We recently adopted a puppy from Jason and Lauren. They were so great, they allowed us to come visit to meet their dogs and choose a puppy. I was super impressed. They do live life with their dogs and their house and dogs were all very well kept.

Our older puppy (our first ever puppy) we’ve had for almost two years and while his breeder seemed ok, I just did not see the same level of care and commitment as I did with Jason and Lauren and the care is evident. The experience has been so different. Our new puppy from Lauren is very social, loves cuddles, and seems very content. He also had a great start at potty training with Lauren, it almost feels like no work at all compared to our last experience where no care had been taken to work with the puppies.

I would definitely adopt a puppy from them again."

"Jason and Lauren put so much love into their puppies. I was able to witness first hand the attention, love and care that go into their litters. We adopted Ranier and she is so socialized, routined, and so very loved. Little Olivia is so special to these puppies they are lucky to have her help with socializing. We had a mishap with our flight and were delayed from 8am to 6pm and Laure was kind enough to open her home to us so we could rest during the delay. Certainly special breeders J&L. Highly recommend them!"

She has been thoroughly checked by our vet and passes with flying colors: she was completely up-to-date with all her age appropraite vaccines and care with we received her. J&L were very thorough and we received all the appropraite paperwork from their vet and the qualifying paperwork and registration for ACA. I can see when we picked up Rosie, J&L provided much care for Rosie and all their pups and dogs. We would highly recommend these breeders!"
